What I was doing when the application crashed:
If I want to access an open konsole after a longer period  of idle, it is not possible to enter commands. The keyboard seems not to work anymore. But in other applications it is possible. Killing the konsole and starting a new konsole session does not work, no window will open. After rebooting a crash window will be shown.

Can't reproduce it in KDE-4.7.0

Feel free to reopen  if this still happens in recent version.
