Sentry Crash Report:

Description Joe 2009-12-17 14:11:55 UTC
Version: 0.7.0-1ubuntu2 (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I used a TAG to select images across several albums, then used the HTML Export plugin to create a static HTML gallery. I noticed that a few of the images on the index page were not in the same order as they appeared in the Digikam browser view, when viewing by Tag. Whether the Digikam was set to "Group Images" "by album" or "flat", the images in the HTML gallery appeared in the same order.

Looking at digikam4.db in sqlite, it appears that the order of the images in the gallery matches the order in the database.

The order of images in the gallery should be predictable based on file name, image date, appearance in Digikam, or some other easily recognizable feature, rather than based on the order of the images in the database, which is not easily determined.

Problem is not reproducible with current HTML Gallery tool implemented in digiKam core version 5.7.0
