SVN commit 1064008 by lappelhans: Run the file when the item gets double-clicked... BUG:218905 M +4 -0 transfersview.cpp WebSVN link: http://websvn.kde.org/?view=rev&revision=1064008 Thank's very much for that! kget gets nicer with each release, wish same happened with ark :) Having context menu "open with" would still be rather useful - in many cases there are multiple registered programs to open file with (for example I would prefer to open office document with koffice, but if it fails - try OpenOffice) - don't like firefox because it also does not provide "open with" option in its download list. I forgot to mention that we already provide the "Open with..." option... It is only shown when finished though... Lukas PS: We had some troubles with that in 4.3 though, so I'm not 100% sure if it's in there... I have found that double-clicking on the row opens the downloaded file in the default program, but the click should be anywhere except "Name" column - this seems to be rather uncommon. Doulble clicking on the "Name" expands the row with download info - I think this could be better done on single-click on the "green triangle expander" column, and double-click on the "Name" should open the file. I am also on 4.4.81 right now and can't find "open with" menu anywhere (there is only "open destination"), it was also missing in 4.4 |
