Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

Would be very convenient if double-clicking on the file from dowload list would open this file in the associated program and context menu would also contain "open with.." item group

Thank's very much for that! kget gets nicer with each release, wish same happened with ark :)

Having context menu "open with" would still be rather useful - in many cases there are multiple registered programs to open file with (for example I would prefer to open office document with koffice, but if it fails - try OpenOffice) - don't like firefox because it also does not provide "open with" option in its download list.

I forgot to mention that we already provide the "Open with..." option... It is only shown when finished though...

Lukas

PS: We had some troubles with that in 4.3 though, so I'm not 100% sure if it's in there...

I have found that double-clicking on the row opens the downloaded file in the default program, but the click should be anywhere except "Name" column - this seems to be rather uncommon. Doulble clicking on the "Name" expands the row with download info - I think this could be better done on single-click on the "green triangle expander" column, and double-click on the "Name" should open the file.

I am also on 4.4.81 right now and can't find "open with" menu anywhere (there is only "open destination"), it was also missing in 4.4
