broken keyboard layout
Confirm it on FreeBSD since 4.3.85, so it's unusable now :( screenshots: http://ns.ael.ru/~fluffy.khv/snapshot01.png http://ns.ael.ru/~fluffy.khv/snapshot02.png http://ns.ael.ru/~fluffy.khv/snapshot03.png http://ns.ael.ru/~fluffy.khv/snapshot04.png http://ns.ael.ru/~fluffy.khv/snapshot05.png http://ns.ael.ru/~fluffy.khv/snapshot06.png Confirm it on Gentoo. KDE version 4.3.98 The weird thing is that I used to be able to reproduce it during the 4.4 development cycle, but it looked fine now with trunk (there doesn't seem to have been that many commits to this kcm module, though). People who experience this: what version of Qt are you using? Do you have desktop effects enabled? FreeBSD-9.0-900008-CURRENT/amd64 Qt-4.6.1 (but first appear was with qt-4.6.0/kde-4.3.85) With and without desktop effects enabled. Qt-4.6.1 Effects enabled. (disable don`t solve problem) Just note: on i386 systems bug not confirmed, only 64bit. This could be related to bug 227730 and bug 215435 Regards Merging with bug 215435. Thanks *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 215435 *** - Are the people experiencing this issue using 32 or 64 bits ? Regards Confirm on 64 bits system. 64 bits here too. Yesterday I found out that ktimetracker icon in systray is having the same problem. I'm assume it's related. found intersting corellation with korgac autostart. if korgac autostart enabled, it not starts really, and parent kdeinit4 process stucks and eat 2-20% of proc. after kill `pidof bad-kdeinit4` korgac started and kxkb shows correct flag. repeatable on many 64bit systems on FIRTS kde run after reboot. |
