In KDE 4.3.81 the country flag image of the current keyboard layout is corrupted -- the bottom half of the image is in black and white.
This is the case both in OpenSUSE and Kubuntu Lucid.

Confirm it on Gentoo.
KDE version 4.3.98
Comment 4 Raphael Kubo da Costa 2010-02-03 12:40:45 UTC
The weird thing is that I used to be able to reproduce it during the 4.4 development cycle, but it looked fine now with trunk (there doesn't seem to have been that many commits to this kcm module, though).

People who experience this: what version of Qt are you using? Do you have desktop effects enabled?
Comment 5 Dima Panov 2010-02-03 13:38:35 UTC
FreeBSD-9.0-900008-CURRENT/amd64
Qt-4.6.1 (but first appear was with qt-4.6.0/kde-4.3.85)
With and without desktop effects enabled.
Comment 6 Alexey Bondarchuk 2010-02-03 21:17:14 UTC
Qt-4.6.1
Effects enabled. (disable don`t solve problem)
Comment 7 Dima Panov 2010-02-13 11:04:38 UTC
Just note: on i386 systems bug not confirmed, only 64bit.

This could be related to bug 227730 and bug 215435

- Are the people experiencing this issue using 32 or 64 bits ? Regards
Comment 11 Alexey Bondarchuk 2010-02-20 08:20:18 UTC
Confirm on 64 bits system.
Comment 12 G Cohen 2010-02-20 09:19:31 UTC
64 bits here too.
Yesterday I found out that ktimetracker icon in systray is having the same problem. I'm assume it's related.
Comment 13 Dima Panov 2010-02-22 05:03:25 UTC
found intersting corellation with korgac autostart. if korgac autostart enabled, it not starts really, and parent kdeinit4 process stucks and eat 2-20% of proc. after kill `pidof bad-kdeinit4` korgac started and kxkb shows correct flag.

repeatable on many 64bit systems on FIRTS kde run after reboot.
