IMHO a new bug in 4.3.4, worked in earlier versions

I seconds the problem, my MBL does not change, too. 
Using DE-4.3.4 @ opensuse-11.1-rpms. 
I have already seen that problem in KDE-4.3.3, though opensuse tends to upgrade their packages quite frequent, so it might have been introduced somewhere inbetween 4.3.3 and 4.3.4.
