Please see this short demo video showing the problem. The last item can be moved to upper positions but it is impossible to move a menu item to the last position.
you can actually move it to the bottom, you just move to far. it's still a bug, but you can do it Confirmed in KDE SC 4.3.90. This bug is still present in KDE 4.4.0. just tested on kde 4.4.4 and it works perfectly on kickoff menu (In reply to comment #5) > just tested on kde 4.4.4 and it works perfectly on kickoff menu No, it still doesnt work as of KDE SC 4.5 beta 1, please note that there has to be some blank space below your favorites, where the item gets dropped. i can reproduce the bug in kde 4.6.40. Still there in 4.7.4, that is: the size of the lowest dropbox is just 1 item big, and not the entire empty area as is indeed intuitive to expect. I've fixed this one in the kickoff-qml branch, which will most likely be merged into 4.10. The commit is: 6d90d46 |
