When using animated reduction and kmail systray icon, kwin uses 10 % of cpu indefinitely. Switch animated reduction off in systemsettings restore a normal kmail cpu usage (0%).
Appear on all my configuration, nvidia and intel graphic cards, core 2 duo, athlon and pentium M cpu.

by "Animated Reduction" you mean the "Minimize Animation" in the effect plugin tab, yesno?

In case this should be fixed for 4.4 (and this is a dupe of bug #184859)
