Description Jakob Sack 2009-12-06 23:07:19 UTC
Version: 4.4 pre (using 4.3.80 (KDE 4.3.80 (KDE 4.4 Beta1)), Mandriva Linux release 2010.1 (Cooker) for x86_64)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31.6-desktop-2mnb

Nearly all my contacts photos are sqare. The new Addressbook squeezes the photo in a 3:2 (?) ratio and deforms them this way.
On the other hand the photos in the name list (the column in the middle) have a 1:1 ratio so the photos having the 3:2 ratio get deformed.

I suggest making the photo in the right column flexible (max width and height X pixels).
For the tiny thumbnails in the name list I don't know a soltion, IMHO they are too small to be helpful anyways.

Still the case in Beta2. The tiny photos in the left column don't matter much IMHO, but it's very annoying for the larger photos on the right side.

Now the images are enormous -- probably not scaled at all.
