Description andres.rogers 2009-12-06 18:06:13 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Archlinux Packages

Kmail doesnt seem to remember (suggest names when writing new mail) the contacts that I have replied to in mails, only the ones i have written manually in mail headers before.

this makes difficult the creation of new mails that are not replies but new topics sent to people i have replied to before, usually having to look up their mails somewhere else if i have erased their previous mails.

Confirmed. In my opinion it is random which adresses kmail remembers and which not. It remembers what has been typed manually.

But it should remember all contacts I have written mails to once.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
