When enabling a samba-shared folder, dolphin shows this property as a small icon in the lower left edge.

After enabling folder image preview, this icon is shown for ~1 second after which it disappears and only the image preview is visible.

In my opinion, the piece of information that this folder is actually shared to the network is way more important than the image preview, and should always be on top.
