The Marble plugin can only be built with KDE >= 4.3. It is optional and only improves the rendering. Looking at your backtrace, the Marble widget does not seem to be involved in it. Do you also have a digikam version provided by your distribution installed? If so, the reason for your crash might be that the digikam version you launch loads plugins from an older version, which are incompatible, and then crashes. Be sure to prepend the directory where you installed your self compiled version to KDEDIRS, KDEDIR and LD_LIBRARY_PATH. Michael Thanks for reply. OK, so it's not marble problem. Anyway prepending install path to KDEDIRS, KDEDIR and LD_LIBRARY_PATH don't make any change. For Kipi plugins I have just compiled and istalled 0.9. My distribution precompiled digikam 0.10 works just fine. I also had no such crashes till 1.0.0-beta4. I experience this crashes from beta6. I run digikam on Ubuntu 9.04. Oops, sorry for reporting, after installing the Digikam to usr directory, everything works as expected... Thank you for suggestion! |
