Version:            (using KDE 4.3.3)
Installed from:    openSUSE RPMs

I want to use the plugin kopetex together with my texlive distribution.

Kopete uses /usr/bin/kopete_latexconvert.sh for rendering, which uses /usr/bin/latex.

latex links on my system to /usr/bin/pdftex which results in an pdf instad of an ?dvi?.

In my humble opinion the script should be modified to work with pdftex.

I forgot to metion the point:

As cause of producing pdfs but expecting dvis I get no rendered image. ;)

Problem is not related to the latex script, but to kopete itself.
