What I was doing when the application crashed:
i just pressed next,next,next in the welcome / setup dialog , and when digikam should appear it crashed.

Perhaps its a problem with the netbook plasma shell or by tooo recent setup (kde svn build)

do you have marble installed?  

it seems not

marble is installed an running if i start it with "marble"

now marble crashes on startup

it worked 1 time, now repeatably crashes on startup.
