Not Okular directly, but I worked something in Qt, inspired from [http://westhoffswelt.de/projects/pdf_presenter_console.html], and named (how genius) QPdfPresenterConsole [http://gitorious.org/qpdfpresenterconsole]. It's not yet of top quality, but it works for my needs right now.

I still need to add things (like man pages) before pushing it at least into Mandriva, but my goal would be to use this already-Qt code to enhance Okular with similar capabilities.

I wanted to revive this issue after 12 years (!)
A presenter mode as in presentation software (PowerPoint, Impress, etc.) would be really helpful.
Using pdf format for presentation is quite common.
Right now, to display presentations using Okular, I have to clone the display.
But I only get the presentation in full-screen, no control like timing, next slide, slide sorter, etc.
