I have a very wide screen, but not so very tall, so I have my panel on the side in a vertical fashion, and increased the width so I can read what's on the task manager icons. 

It mostly works OK, but I would like to be able to put the device notifier button next to the "K" button, just to save a bit of space. 

I have tried every config option I could think of, but no luck. 

Thanks for making such a great desktop!

this one is so old, looks like no one wants to fix it. Let's kill this bug for the greater good.
