Description cherev 2009-11-25 00:37:45 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs

My wife and I use multiple calendars, local and remote. Locally (on openSuSE Linux v11.0, KDE 3.5.9), a personal one each, and a shared one for our boat, plus various Web ones.

Nowadays, when my wife clicks her reminder icon on the KDE bar, a pop-up appears asking her to redefine her existing personal calendar resource. Didn't do this before. The app doesn't crash. Korganizer app doesn't do this for me, yet as far as I can see we are configured identically (except for resource names and locations, of course).

The shared calendar doesn't cause a pop-up either. Is there a 'new resource' flag that's gotten set somewhere?

I'm a long-term user of Linux, beginning with SuSE v7.3 and KDE v2.x. I'm not an early-adopter type, and like for things to just work. If I need to go into a config and just reset something I can. I also use Sunbird occasionally.

Try kdepim 4.6. There have been changes related to this.
