What I was doing when the application crashed:
This is what I did:
1) draw frame in okular while viewing a pdf file
2) select "copy image" in okular
3) paste image on plasma desktop
4) select "picture frame" in the pop-up menu
5) plasma crashed with SIGDEV

one more remark:
after the crash pasting simple text on the plasma desktop and saving it as "note" also crashes plasma while this was working before.
