Description Arne Babenhauserheide 2009-11-20 14:14:42 UTC
Version:           1.12.3 (using 4.3.3 (KDE 4.3.3), Gentoo)
Compiler:          x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.30-gentoo-r5

Reproduce:
* Leave kontact running for some time
* Right-click E-Mail address in received mail
* select "add to address book"
* No groups shown

(shortly after starting kontact it works).

This works far better since KDE SC 4.4 RC1 - I assume it's because of an overloaded dbus-daemon (everything compiled with debug flags).

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
