Summary: Irrelevant mail address appears in Kontact when attaching file
Product: [Applications] kontact Reporter: Jos Geluk <jos>
Component: generalAssignee: kdepim bugs <kdepim-bugs>
Status: RESOLVED FIXED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Version: 4.3.2
Target Milestone: ---
Platform: Ubuntu
OS: Linux
Latest Commit: Version Fixed In:
Attachments: New (empty) message with attachment panel containing mail address

Description Jos Geluk 2009-11-18 22:46:12 UTC
Version: 4.3.2 (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create new message.
2. Attach file.

A panel appears underneath the message, listing the attached file. In the header of this panel, an email address appears for no reason at all.
This happens to be the address of one of the Dutch translators of the program, but I have exchanged emails with him as well. So either he left his address deliberately in the program, or the program picked it up from my mail box or address book or something.
(I'll add a screenshot if this wizard will allow me).

The string was fixed in trunk already. See http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/l10n-kde4/nl/messages/kdepim/kmail.po?revision=1050393&view=markup&sortby=date (around line 32)

The fix will be in KDE 4.4 (I'm unsure about KDE 4.3.4)

Ah bon. So it's a translation issue. Merci Christophe.
