Well, I can't make heads nor tails of this report, the crash seems to come form a different application. Also, you state that you are using Amarok 2.2.1 on Ubuntu 9.04, there is absolutely no such package available in Kubuntu. So either you are using Kubuntu 9.04 and have a much older version (the latest would be 2.1.1 in the kubuntu-backports-repository) or you use Kubutnu 9.10. Anyway, your report lacks some debugging symbols and is not really useful. You should install amarok-dbg and phonon-dbg at least, ideally you should also have kdelibs5-dbg, libqt4-dbg and libglib2.0-0-dbg. Then try to reproduce the backtrace. Oh, it's just that I've compiled the latest Amarok (2.2.1) in my Kubuntu 9.04... but i've compiled it with the option -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release .. If this happens again I'll compile it with the debug option. Thanks. If you compile, why not compile from git? There's not a big difference and you are sure to have the latest version. There are several howtos available out there, but you definitely should always compile with the debug option, else you will never get proper backtraces. Closing for lack of feedback. Most likely fixed already. |
