Presently Amarok forgets your queued tracks when you close it, but I suggest that it should remember them as it did in 1.4. This could be tied to the reintroduction of the queue manager, which is also currently a wishlist item.

I'm working on this. I've got the queue saved, the only thing left is to get the playlist to markup the queue as queued :/
