What I was doing when the application crashed:
Copying files (photos) from a USB drive to an NTFS partition, Dolphin repeatedly brought up a message about not being able to change file permissions (ie "Could not change permissions for
/media/cdrive/Documents and Settings/ ..... /IMG_8697.JPG").  Clicking "OK" would show a similar message re: the file currently being copied.  I clicked OK a few times and then Dolphin crashed. 

I have been able to reproduce the bug.  Let me know if I should install any debug packages (opensuse 11.2 RC2) and report more information - it'll take me a few days but I'll be able to do it.
