What I was doing when the application crashed:
I had been scouting for a data file which caused a certain NPR news report alwa ys to play. I chose to search for the text of the title of the item in the content of files.

Of course, the file came  up faiirly promptly. I decided to experiment with O[pera's cache deletion facility in an attempt to get rid of the old report. It was while I was so engaged that this crash happened.
