When switching windows with Alt-TAB the minimized windows are displayed using a cursive font.

The task manager should do the same thing or something similar, e.g. also using a cursive font, an inactive versus an active icon.

Otherwise it's sometimes hard to find and select minimized windows, esp. if you do not have other toosl available to do that, e.h. when you do not have compositing and therefore cannot use the box switch.
