Version: (using KDE 4.3.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

# How to Reproduce
1) Add a new plasa knote widget to desktop.
2) Type text.
3) increase/decrease size of widget/note.
Result: Font increases/decreases which doesn't look that great and is not expected behavior for majority of "normal" users. We can also not fit more text on the note since the font is now larger.

# Expected Behaviour
1) Add a new plasa knote widget to desktop.
2) Type text.
3) increase/decrease size of widget/note.
Result: Font size remains the same and we can now fit more text on the same note.

# Fix/patch
Under notes settings, size option should default to "use custom font size" and not to "scale font size".

The above suggestion is a good usability suggestion and I am hoping KDE will become more user friendly and little touches like this will hopefully help.

I agree with Divan: every time I add a note on my plasma desktop, I've to manually set "custom size".

This is now the default so resolved.
