1. Start Konqueror
2. Open the "Settings" menu.
3. Chose "Configure spell checking...".

Now there is a dialog. It is not even obvious that the dialog is about configuring spell checking. The window title should mention it somehow, but instead it is just "Sonnet Configuration - Konqueror". None of the elements have whatsthis help or even tooltip. There is no help button either. The bottom of the dialog has an ordered list, with a lineedit to add items to the list, the list itself, and buttons to add/remove/move up/move down items. But there is no way whatsoever to figure out what kind of items the list is for, or how they are used by the program.

This bug still exists in KDE 4.5.5.

This is a common dialog from kdelibs used by all applications (konqueror, kmail composer, kate...), so I'll reassigning it.

In kde 4.6 the dialog is slightly better usable, caption is "Spell Checking Configuration - Application name", the group has a caption "Ignored Words" to indicate what the edit line, the list field and the buttons are about.

I could add a "Help" button to the dialog to launch the documentation you see when you enter "help:/kcontrol/spellchecking" in konquerors location bar. The same documentation you get clicking the "Help" button in System Settings -> Common Appearance and Behaviour -> Locale -> Spell Checker.
