Description Simon 2009-11-08 13:58:28 UTC
Version: 1.0.0-beta6 (rev.: 1039716) (using 4.3.2 (KDE 4.3.2), Debian packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31-5.slh.4-sidux-686

Introduction: I've been shooting in RAW at night, with flashlight and other light sources. Opened them in the digikam Image Editor, RAW Import Wizard. Everything looked okay. But after importing the white balance seems to have changed quite a lot (everything was something between yellow and brown), and whatever I did, I had no chance to get the original colours with good saduration etc. back.

After a while I found out that I did set a monitor profile in the settings, but the checkbox «Use color managed view in editor» was not enabled. After checking it the colours looked normal again.

Now it might be useful to check this boxes by default and to ask users updating to 1.0 whether they would like to activate color managed view too.

Simon,

Look on statusbar of editor, on the right/bottom corner, there is a button named 'color managment view'. you can enable/disable it to click on. If you pass only mouse over, a popup will show you the current state.
