Description Pascal d'Hermilly 2009-11-07 15:29:57 UTC
Version: 0.9.2 (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I have lost the annotations that I've made with okular on a pdf. It worked fine opening and closing it yesterday and the annotations were still there.
Today, although I have not renamed, moved or overwritten the file, the annotations are gone.
It's a bit frustrating as I was using the annotations for reply in a participant list.

can you see if there exists a file called filesize.filename.xml in $HOME/.kde/share/apps/okular/docdata and if its contents feature some <annotationList> tag?
Comment 2 Pascal d'Hermilly 2009-11-09 09:54:04 UTC
Yes, it is there. It does not contain any AnnotationList tags.

btw. I figured out getting the lost information from some notes, but of course it was not the happiest of times ;-)

I can imagine, but unless you know a way to reproduce it we can't really fix it since it always works for us, might it be that you closed your KDE session with okular open?
Comment 4 Pascal d'Hermilly 2009-11-11 02:01:36 UTC
actually I think I just that the computer running. However that's hard to remember now.
I'll tell if I by chance is able to reproduce it.
