Create a directory/folder.
Dolphin indicates that this folder has a size of 1 element.
Right click + properties indicates that this folder has a size of 1 element and 1 sub-folder.

To me this is not consistent with the fact the folder is empty (0 element, 0 sub-folder).

note: I'm using KDE in french.

Might this be the hidden .directory file?
