- Do you think you can reproduce the crash at will ? Thanks What did you do when the application crashed? If you can reproduce, please install debug information for digikam, we need to know stack frames #20 and #21 from digikam code if this a digikam bug. Excuse me please for a late answer. I accidently installed an unstable Qt version and have been attacked by some KDE developers idependently for this reason. So I just stopped reporting crashes. - What I can not understand is the reason that those Qt problems does not seem to be forwarded to Qt... But... different story, sorry! Yes: There is a problem here with the dependency for digikam-dbg: Die folgenden Pakete haben nicht erfüllte Abhängigkeiten: digikam-dbg: Hängt ab: digikam (= 2:1.0.0~beta5-1ubuntu1) aber 2:1.0.0~beta5-jaunty~ppa1kde43 soll installiert werden Hängt ab: showfoto (= 2:1.0.0~beta5-1ubuntu1) soll aber nicht installiert werden Otherwise this is one of my first dbg packages as I regulary use your great work! :) So please contact me again if I can help you. - If my reports are not suffisant for your needs please ignore them. I will stop reporting bugs until I found a way to get rid of the Qt alpha version (hopefully at least in 6 month)... Thanks for your work and patience! About the problem of the digikam-dbg package, you have to report this to Ubuntu directly... Some Qt bugs are starting to be reported upstream.... In any case, note that KDE SC 4.3 was not tested properly with Qt4.6 and that caused some breakages.. this could be related (or not). May be the situation changed with Qt 4.6.0 final. I have also heard that Ubuntu should be distributing an updated version of Digikam (beta6 or rc1) ... could you try to install them ? Thanks Hi. I managed to remove Qt 4.6 which is also not native in the moment to Ubuntu ofcourse. I also installed rc1 of Digikam - and I will go on on reporting errors. Thanks for your work! Thanks |
