Description LimCore 2009-11-05 03:12:11 UTC
Version: 1.12.2 (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I am using gmail.com account (Disconnected IMAP) for a long time, on kmail.

I upgraded to ubuntu 9.10 (so, new kmail) 3 days ago.

Today it happened, that identical message X is visible as 2 entries in the messages list.

This message X is visible:
- in inbox (correct)
- in all mail folder (correct)
- in all mail folder once again (the bug)

it is the same message (same msg-id etc).

Perhaps a race condition?

Possible triggers:
 - use quad core CPU
 - click download messages few times
 - while switching between inbox / all emails folders

Do you have some other mail client accessing the mail box you are watching with kmail? In that case this is a duplicate of bug #139088

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
