Some of the error details got lost by my first commit:
> Failed to fetch http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/p/python2.6/libpython2.6_2.6.4-0ubuntu1_i386.deb
>Could not connect to 127.0.0.1:3128 (127.0.0.1). - connect (111: Connection refused)
It's already fixed in 0.5.x versions. Thanks. It seems that the Software Updates - System Settings application does not honor
the ${HOME}/.kde/share/config/kioslaverc:ProxyType=0 , since It keeps using the
proxy that I manually set, but disabled by selecting "Connect directly to the
internet". Konqueror works fine though. I'm using kde 4.3.3 ( Kubuntu 9.10)
installed from deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/backports/ubuntu karmic

Yes that was the problem when you disable them, they don't get erased, they just change one status key that I wasn't checking, but as I said it's fixed in 0.5.x I saw your https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=213141#c2 comment before posting mine, but where do I check the version? From the Help menu it tells me that I have version 1.0 so I assumed there was a regression. *** Bug 215182 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
