Version:           3.3.3 (using 4.3.3 (KDE 4.3.3) "release 1", KDE:43 / openSUSE_11.0)
Compiler:          gcc

the filter setting in the "find in files" dialog is lost after the session and has to be typed in again or selected from the drop down list. Like in a former version (long time ago) kate should remember this setting like it does for the search pattern and folder.

Fixed for KDE 4.5 and KDE 4.4.1.
