"I really don't know whether this is a kontact bug or a kweather one. I lean toward it being a kweather one, so that's the package I've identified in this bug report.

Nothing I do ever succeeds in causing the weather service to appear in the kontact summary view. The weather service is running fine, and it displays on the panel correctly, but even with the "Weather Service" checked on the "Summary View Items" kontact configuration dialogue, there is no sign of the weather on the summary screen.

I have tried logging out and logging back in again, in case somehow kontact required that in order realise that it is supposed to be displaying the weather in the summary view, but that was no help."

Hello,

Is there any news about this bug ?

I can't succeed having weather report in the summary view but I have even no "Weather Service" option to check in the summary view options. My problem is maybe not related.
