Installed from:    Fedora RPMs

Each new day I need to start a new journal manually - very annoying, especially because I need to give it some title, time, etc.
I will be happy if, for example, "New Journal" button will supply a standard journal properties, as minimum.

This is already done, when I mark some ToDo as done and it is logged into Journal, which is created automatically. Great! Just do the same on "New Journal" button.

you can also use templates with journals.

yes, I know the template workflow is horrible.  but that's a different bug.

so I will resolve this one for now least. if I'm not understanding the request feel free to reopen.
