Halim Can ALBASAN

Not sure if this is not a packaging problem, since I can't reproduce this with another distro, the applets look quite fine and one can add those without any problems. Looking at the backtrace this seems to ba a duplicate of bug 195260 which was apparently a driver problem with X rather than an Amarok bug. Leo, any thoughts? as reference to the bug 195260; i am using the proprietary nVidia driver: lshw -class display *-display description: VGA compatible controller product: G86 [GeForce 8400 GS] vendor: nVidia Corporation physical id: 0 bus info: pci@0000:01:00.0 version: a1 width: 64 bits clock: 33MHz capabilities: pm msi pciexpress vga_controller bus_master cap_list rom configuration: driver=nvidia latency=0 resources: irq:16 memory:f6000000-f6ffffff memory:e0000000-efffffff(prefetchable) memory:f4000000-f5ffffff ioport:b000(size=128) memory:f7000000-f701ffff(prefetchable) Amarok 2.0.2 is completely outdated. Can you reproduce this with current Amarok 2.2.1? amarok-2.2.1-2, still the same. reproduced. by the way, the former version, which is ok, is not 2.0.2; it is amarok-2.2.0-1. going back to amarok-2.2.0-1 again, for now. thx for the interest.. Oops, sorry, I misread the version completely. Can somebody confirm this? Works fine here with Amarok 2.2-git, KDE 4.3.3 on Kubuntu 9.10 No, I can't reproduce this. It's likely a packaging issue. Anyway, try this: "kbuildsycoca4" (on the terminal). |
