amarok is just started (nothing playing/paused) and remains idle in the system tray. But still consumes a lot of power (which imo it shouldn't)

Take other apps here, many just as apps like amarok.  But consuming a lot lot less power. Even things like plasma-desktop and kwin are low on power.

Duplicate reports cause us a lot of work... Please do better research next time.
