- If you can reproduce the crash at will (or you experience this regularly), may you read http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports , install the "kdepim4-debuginfo" package and post a complete backtrace here? Thanks Hi there, I can confirm that filtering 1500 messages (all in the same folder) is a big problem, because it lasts abt. 1 hour (during this time kmail is not responsive/usable). I must concede that I have some dozens of filters (by mailing list) and that I selected "use all filters CTRL+J) because I wanted to apply the original filter chain for incoming mail. However I am not sure if as opposed to the original chain, CTRL+J doesn't stop on hitting filters? Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this version of Kmail has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Please try using the latest version of Kmail to see if your issue persists. If it does, please submit a new bug in "kmail2". Thank you! |
