I've created a new panel at the top of my monitor and set it to auto-hide.  In it I've placed the notes plasmoid and the intention is to hover over the panel and cause the notes plasmoid to emerge.  Once the panel auto-hides and I click on some other window, the plasmoid will not get keyboard focus.  I can no longer type into it.

I've noticed that if I click on the desktop and then hover over the panel to cause it to emerge, I can type into the widget.  It may be a focus issue.

I've seen this on Kubuntu 9.04, 9.10, and Debian testing.

probably not really a notes plasmoid bug, but please reasign further from there

I have this issue too on Archlinux with KDEmod. Really annoying. Please fix.
