Zeroconf asking for hostkeys before I have a chace to do anything
There is a long string of popups asking about accepting host keys for EVERY machine with Zeroconf sharing, before I ever chose to open any of these connections.
Accepting a key should only be prompted for after I try to open a share.
It doesn't help that the dialog box is a different size for each prompt, meaning I cannot just sit and click [Yes] for each prompt easily because often times that [Yes] location is the [No] button's location for the next popup. Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been stagnant for a long time. Could you help us out and re-test if the bug is valid in the latest version? I am setting the status to NEEDSINFO pending your response, please change the Status back to REPORTED when you respond. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! Dear Bug Submitter, This is a reminder that this bug has been stagnant for a long time. Could you help us out and re-test if the bug is valid in the latest version? Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! I just installed kde-zeroconf on my Debian 9 setup: $ apt-get install kde-zeroconf avahi-discover The following additional packages will be installed: libglade2-0 python-avahi python-dbus python-gdbm python-glade2 $ In Dolphin, browsing to zeroconf:/ gives an "Invalid Protocol" error. I don't know what I might need to install to change that error and no additional packages were pulled in to make this function. This report is over 9 years old. If it wasn't interesting then, and can't be reproduced now, I don't think this is worth our time to dig deeper. Please consider closing this report. Thanks for KDE. Thanks for the update! |
