You can also use space and backspace, which seems to be a standard across different image viewers. But I think the arrows are more comfortable than backspace and space, because I use the keys to sort my images. To use left arrow, right arrow and delete is very easy, but for space, backspace and delete I need both hands;-) And I think it should be easy to implement... Andreas I just took a look at other image viewers (gwenview, f-spot, gqview etc.). None of them uses the arrow keys for navigating between images. Instead they are used to scroll in a zoomed image. So I would rather argue to use the arrow keys for scrolling, what's also not possible right now. But that's only my opinion. What about the others? Any opinions? For me the current behavior is enough. But it's just my viewpoint... Gilles Caulier Gilles, what about scrolling using the arrow keys? That seems to be widely used. Why not just Page up and Down? Many use that as well... It is already possible to use page up and down. Andreas, is that enough for you? Andreas, Do you see comment #8 from Johannes ? Gilles Caulier See my comment : https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=160591#c22 technically, left/right key to navigate over thumb-bar items work fine in 2.6.0 Gilles Caulier |
