- The backtrace is not useful
- There is not description about the crash - What were you doing when the application crashed? Can you reproduce the crash at will ?
- You are not using KDE4.3 - What is your KDE version ?

4:4.2.2 Oubuntu2  Simple KDE4 video player---- i put a dvd in, opened with Dragon, selected play media, waited, and that is when the fatal error popped up.
no i can not reproduce it, it will not try to play a dvd or any video media now
