Description Mike Miller 2009-10-23 16:32:17 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Using the keramik window decoration style with compositing switched on results in window control buttons which have transparent, rather than black inked glyphs on them.

This means the button glyphs are often indistinct or illegible, depending upon the underlying desktop image or other window contents in the are of the window control buttons.

The glyph ink should be opaque to ensure legibility.

Graphics card is a Nvidia Geforce 8400GL, using latest Ubuntu-packaged driver (185.18.36) installed from the hardware helper app.

Ubuntu version is Karmic Beta, upto date as of 23/11.

This is fixed in kde-svn and will be for 4.4.
Could be backported to 4.3 (its a small fix), but I'm not sure about backport policy.
