Description Barry Schatz 2009-10-21 04:35:24 UTC
Version: 2.0 (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

I have Dragonplayer as the default application for media files. When I have an existing instance of Dragonplayer running, opening a media file (from dolphin, for example) causes a new instance of Dragonplayer to open and play the file. This forces me to stop and close the previous instance.

My suggestion is for Dragonplayer to detect if there is an existing instance running already, and cause that instance to play the media file instead.

I understand the current behavior isn't as you'd prefer it, but the ability to have more then one dragon player window open at a time is intentional.
