Mirza, in my KDE 4.1.1 installation on Kubuntu 9.10 the zoom is rememberer per folder. Please try this setting: General -> Behaviour -> Remember view properties for each folder I tried that, but it doesn't work! Dolphin remembers preview mode, details or icons view mode but NOT zoom level. Can you please confirm that it works for more people before setting this as resolved. I also submitted this as brainstorm idea, and I will check there if this has been fixed. Mirza, I was too quick, I apologize. I see that the zoom level is not per folder. My original confusion was due to having different view settings (icons vs. list) in different folders. To reproduce the issue: 1) Set General -> Behaviour -> Remember view properties for each folder 2) Create folders ~/a and ~/b with files in them. 3) Set both folders to List View. 4) In folder ~/a zoom in to a ridiculous size. 5) Navigate to ~/b It can be seen that ~/b is also zoomed in, which it should not be as per the setting. Reopening. Thank you for your reconsideration. I truly hope this will be implemented sometimes soon. If there is anything else I can do to help promote this bug/wish I would gladly help, just say. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 169405 *** |
