I have the "Desktop Grid" effect bound to a mouse button.

If I trigger the effect, then click my mouse to select the desktop currently under the pointer, it returns me to my current desktop - not the one that was under the pointer. If I move my mouse at all while the "Desktop Grid" effect is active, then everything works.

Example / Repro:
I'm in desktop 1.
I put my mouse in the bottom right quadrent (corresponding to desktop 4 in the grid).
I click my "Desktop Grid" button.
I click my mouse (on what is desktop 4).
I end up back in desktop 1.
