uh, sorry s/500 harddrive/500 GB harddrive I mean, amarok scans the disk and you can't stop it if it is big mass storage. You should not try to scan an external harddisk as a media device for obvious reasons. Instead, select it as a collection source in the settings. But yes, one should be able to stop the scanner I think. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 180520 *** |
