Bug 210825

Summary: add people as attendees without email address
Product: [Applications] korganizer Reporter: Peter Paulsen <kdebugs.99.urgwurz>
Component: generalAssignee: kdepim bugs <kdepim-bugs>
Status: RESOLVED UNMAINTAINED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Version: 4.3
Target Milestone: ---
Platform: Debian testing
OS: Linux
Latest Commit: Version Fixed In:

Description Peter Paulsen 2009-10-16 22:26:29 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.2)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

When I add a person as attendee without an email address the attendee first is shown in the list but after I click on the ok button this attendee is deleted.

It should be possible to add people as attendees without (the need to use a fake) email address. There are other ways of communication too like IM, SMS or the good old phonecall.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korganizer (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
