Description Jens Mueller 2009-10-16 22:15:04 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Default toolbar style (icononly, textundericon, textbesideicon) can be set via systemsettings. Korganizer do not respect this settings, it show always textbesideicon. Shure one can set this with one right click, but for consistence korganizer should read kde defaults.

That setting can be changed on a per-application base, so it you change it in korganizer, the setting from systemsettings is overriden.
Comment 2 Jens Mueller 2009-10-17 16:57:46 UTC
Sorry, as i am not a native english speaker perhaps i could not express myself as i would.
My usecase is: On kubuntu default style is textbesideicon. I prefer icononly, so I change default behaviour via systemsettings. Then I open kontact: kmail toolbars are icononly, kadressbook toolbars are icononly, korganizer has one toolbar icononly and one textbesideicon. I do not want to change every toolbar in every application. If no overriden setting is taken, it should take kde default settings.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korganizer (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
