Description Elmar Stellnberger (AT/K) 2009-10-16 16:58:57 UTC
Version: 0.80.2 (using 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1) "release 3", openSUSE Factory)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31.1-3-desktop

KDE3-kopete has had an icon bar instead of a list (zu sperrig) for showing the online status of each chat sytem. It is easy to identify the account of a chat system by an ico (of the respective color) instead of a hulking entry in a list where you need to scroll to see whether a certain account is currently functional. Nonetheless the main advantage of the icon bar has been its smaller space requirement. Moreover I think of an icon bar as more clear than a list.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
